Cookie Policy
Last updated 4 August 2026
This policy explains how Breaks (“we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on this site, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We also use comparable technologies such aslocalStorage and pixels. We group them as necessary, analytics and marketing.
Your choices
On your first visit we show a consent banner. Analytics and marketing technologies do not run until you grant consent; if you reject or ignore the banner they stay off. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings”control in the bottom corner of the site. Your choice is remembered in a necessary key (breaks_consent).
Cookies and technologies we use
Strictly necessary (always on)
| Name | Purpose |
|---|---|
breaks_consent | Stores your cookie choices so we don’t ask again. |
Analytics (only after you consent)
| Provider | What it does |
|---|---|
Google Analytics 4 (gtag, _ga) | Measures how the site is used, in aggregate. |
| PostHog | Product analytics — which features are used and how journeys flow. |
| Microsoft Clarity | Aggregated usage metrics and session replay to diagnose usability issues. |
Marketing (only after you consent)
| Provider | What it does |
|---|---|
Microsoft Advertising / UET (_uetsid, _uetvid) | Measures ad performance and supports remarketing. |
| Google Ads (via Consent Mode v2) | Ad measurement and personalisation. |
Consent Mode
We use Google Consent Mode v2. Before you choose, Google tags send only cookieless signals; your choice then updates analytics_storage and the advertising signals accordingly.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so may affect how the site works. See your browser’s help pages for details.
